Tent support
Chattanooga Ironman 70.3
This tent is where we always have our club tent set up. On Saturday people may stop by to buy stickers and such. On Sunday, our athletes may leave gear, or use this as a meet up with friends & family.
Please note! We are now asking for a weekend tent coordinator to cover the weekend setup, transitions between tent host slots at the end of each night and into the next morning, and tent tear down. This person will coordinate with the board member that has access to our storage unit with all you will need You will be the primary point of contact for any tent host needs, as well as back-up for any slots missing a volunteer. You are not expected to stay at the tent all the time, but you do need to be around, not racing and able to help the tent hosts as needed. If you are able to take this important position, one WE LOVE YOU, and two, please sign up for all of the tent coordinator spots. There is one per day and we need you to cover the full weekend.
Tent hosts: You are in charge of talking to spectators, hosting gear, and selling swag (if we have any).

In addition to 3 to 4 hour coverage of the tent, we are looking for a point person to take ownership of the tent for the weekend. This role includes getting the tent set up, hand-offs between shifts at the beginning and end of each day, supporting the tent volunteers and covering any shifts that we don’t have volunteers. This is an extremely important position for the weekend and whomever takes this role should not be racing.
