Rachel completed her first triathlon in 2024, and thanks to the support and influence of many in the Club, went from 70.3 to 140.6 in the span of a season. She grew up swimming, and started running in 2019 and has raced distances ranging from 5K to 55K.

She is originally from Atlanta, but has called Chattanooga home for the last decade. When not training, she enjoys spending time paddling, mountain biking, backpacking and traveling with her partner Justin and 3 dogs, Abby, Atlas, and Legend.

So many people within the Club community made this sport accessible for her as a newbie, and she joined the board to help give back to the community that has given her so much.

He is experienced in many distances, from super sprints to Triple Anvil Relays and can always be found on the course with a smile and encouraging word.

Michael enjoys running with his four feet legged buddy Kona, spending time with his wife Lori Lyn and helping others reach their goals in Super Sherpa style. His passion for service to his community brought him to the Volunteer Coordinator position.

My husband, Joe and I moved from Las Vegas, NV to Chattanooga in May, 2022 to be closer to my 2 daughters and son-in-law that live here. My background is competitive swimming and I am currently a certified Masters Swimming Coach. I completed my first triathlon in 1981 and have raced all distances up to a 140.6. I am currently racing sprint and Olympic distances. My real passion is to help people get involved in triathlons.

I was born in London and I’m lucky to have called San Francisco, Seattle, and NYC my home. During 2020, I developed a bit of a crush on Chattanooga, partly because of the active triathlon scene and access to the outdoors, I moved here in December.

I’ve slogged my way through a bunch of triathlons, half marathons, swims, and long-distance bike rides. Anyone who knows me will vouch for the fact that what I lack in skill, strength, and talent, I make up for in enthusiasm… a trait that carries me through much of my life.

Carol and I just moved to Chattanooga in 2022 from Nashville, TN. We both have competed in triathlons approximately 10 years. We have mainly raced sprint distance, but have completed Augusta 70.3 in 2019 and Chattanooga 70.3 in 2022.

Last year I became a Level 1 Certified Triathlon Coach. Before triathlons, in competed in cycling: road races, time trials, criteriums, and cyclocross for 25+ years. Before cycling, I competed in running: 5ks and 10ks. Before running, I competed in moto cross and enduros.

I enjoy triathlons more any of the other sport I have participated in. I look forward to serving another year on the board.
